Terms
The short version of how you may use these tools.
Use of the tools
The tools are provided to help you open, convert, inspect and clean HEIC and HEIF files. You are responsible for the files you process and for having the right to use them.
No warranty
Image conversion can change or lose data. While outputs are validated before download, the tools are provided as-is without a guarantee that a conversion will be lossless or suitable for a particular purpose. Keep your originals.
Acceptable use
Do not use the tools to process content you do not have the right to process, or in a way that breaks the law.
HEVC and third-party technology
HEIC uses HEVC compression, which is covered by patents held by third parties. Use of the conversion features is subject to those third-party rights.
