Email hello@heic.fyi. Because there are no accounts and no uploads, we cannot look up your files or sessions — so the more detail you give us, the faster we can help.

Reporting a bug

The details that let us reproduce a problem quickly:

• The tool page you were using.
• Your browser and version, and your operating system (including phone model for iOS).
• What you expected and what happened instead, including any message shown.
• The file's size and where it came from (for example "iPhone 15 Pro, default camera settings").

Please do not send photos that contain anything private. If a particular file triggers the problem, tell us and we will work out a safe way to get a test file — for example one with the metadata removed using our metadata removal tool.

Reporting an error in our content

If something on a guide or tool page is wrong or out of date, tell us the page, the sentence, and — if you can — a source. We check it, fix it, and record material corrections in the changelog. Our approach is described in the editorial policy.

Reporting a security issue

Please email us privately instead of posting publicly, and include the smallest file or steps that reproduce it. Our machine-readable policy is at /.well-known/security.txt, and the security page explains how we treat untrusted files.

Anything else

Feature suggestions, sample files that behave unexpectedly, and questions about how a tool works are all welcome at the same address.
